We have some exciting news to share with you at Oxford Lab Products! We are thrilled to announce that we will be moving our headquarters, laboratory, and warehouse to a new and improved facility. This move is aimed at enhancing our services and better serving you. 

 

We understand the importance of clear communication and a smooth transition during this process. To assist you, we have prepared this information package that contains all the necessary details and answers to frequently asked questions. This package aims to provide practical information and minimize any disruption to your orders and services.

We are excited about the advantages our new facility will bring. Improved facilities, enhanced services, and increased efficiency will enable us to serve you even better. We have made significant investments in technology and infrastructure to ensure a seamless experience for you. 

 

It’s been an interesting period since March 2020 – we scaled rapidly to get supplies onto the benchtop quickly, leveraged our vertically integrated supply chain, and delivered – as fast as global shipping lanes would allow. Just as quickly, we adjusted through the post-pandemic changes to our shared industry and how you do business as a customer. 

  

In that time, we adjusted operations, invested in new technology and infrastructure, and prepared for the long-term. We understand that change can sometimes be challenging, because we’ve struggled like any business along the way. Most importantly – we’re listening – and I encourage you to communicate with me directly if there’s anything that has caused you disruption as we make these investments. We’ll make it right, the first time you ask.    

 

We are committed to making this final investment and transition as smooth as possible for you. Our team has been working diligently to ensure that your orders, warranties, and returns will continue to be processed without interruption. In the coming months, we have plans to optimize our entire dealer-facing operation. We are working to achieve transparency in our systems so every individual who may engage with you has a clear picture of the relationship you have with our company. I’m confident in our team being able to achieve this as 2024 approaches.

1. What is happening? 

We are excited to announce that our company is moving to a new location to better serve you. We will be relocating our headquarters, laboratory, and warehouse to 9477 Waples Street #120, San Diego, CA 92121. 

2. When is the move happening? 

The move will take place during the period of September 25th through 29th. Please note that our current locations will be operational until the following dates:

Last day of warehouse operations is 9/28/2023, and has already been underway for several weeks. 

First Day of warehouse operations 9/29/2023 

Returns and Warranties should be shipped to this location after 9/29/2023 

 

3. Will there be any disruptions to my orders or services? 

We are committed to ensuring a seamless transition for our customers. Your orders, warranties, and returns will continue to be processed without interruption. 

Warehouse transitions have been underway seamlessly for several weeks, and recertification calibration lab operations will continue uninterrupted throughout the move. Any orders which arrive at our old facility will be hand-transferred through the last day of operations. 

4. How can I contact you during the move?

5. What about shipping? 

For outbound shipping, operations will continue as usual. Please be aware that there might be minor delays during the move, but we will do our best to minimize any impact on your orders. Please rest assured your order shipment is our priority and we are working hard to minimize disruption. 

For inbound warranty or return shipping, please follow the same process as you are accustomed to, directing all items to the new location based on the date of your inbound shipment. 

6. Will there be any changes to your website or online services? 

Our website will remain operational throughout the move. You can continue to research products, access product information, and contact our support team as usual. 

7. How can I stay updated on the move? 

We will provide regular updates via email, newsletters, and announcements on our website. Please make sure to check your inbox and visit our website for the latest information. 

8. What are the benefits of the new location? 

Our new location will allow us to enhance our services, improve efficiency, and provide an even better experience for our customers. We are excited to bring consolidated warehouse facilities, customer support, calibration and repair, along with administrative operations into one central hub for customers. We plan in the near future to host a model Oxford Laboratory, highlighting the benefits through learning lab events and opportunities to engage with our business in the coming months. 

9. What else is on the horizon? *HINT ENCLOSED ON NEW PRODUCTS* 

Stay tuned – we will be expanding our line of products soon, with an LTS-compatible lite-force pipette which will come in single and multi-channel configurations to be available beginning in Q4 of 2023, with shipments in volume available early 2024.
